December Monthly Journal

In December we had a field trip and we went to Sea World. So at Sea World we...

• Rode the Polar Express Ride.
• Went to Shamu.
• Went to the Dolphins and Whales Show.

The polar express ride is a simulator, so there are seats and a screen so the chairs move and you feel like you are in the movie. The Shamu show was called believe. It is about a little boy who looks out the window and sees shamu so he craves a piece of wood into a shamu tale. The Dolphins and Whales show is about a woman who loves wales and dolphins.

September 2008

In September we did lots of things, here are a few of them. We started to read and blog about a sunshine state book the "Homework Machine". We also read books in our reading book here they are "Pepita Talks Twice", "Nate The Great", "Allies Basket Ball Dream", "The Olympic Games", "Turtle Bay". We finished our "Homework Machine" book and blog too. We did a lot of (I hate it)! We started reading sunshine state books. We did a monthly journal blog for August.

August 2008

The first month of school we did a lot of stuff. Here are some examples. The first week of school we missed 2 days because of Tropical Storm Fay. The second week of school because we had a full week. We read a book called Ancient Greece and the Olympics and finished it on September 4, 2008. We went to school during the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China. We did medal graphs for how many medals some of the other countries have. We learned how to blog and got our own emails! Ms. Pluto told us that we would get laptops for the whole year. We came up with rules, consequences, and rewards, too!
